Philippines

As part of the NACRE-PEARRL Project (2014-2017), I travelled to more than 55 localities around the Philippines conducting fish visual census, key informant interviews and focus group discussions to determine the status of the fisheries livelihood and coral reef fishes in the Philippines.
For the Philippines PIRE Project, I have travelled to provinces of Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Siquijor, Zamboanga del Norte, Negros Oriental, Romblon, Mindoro Oriental, Palawan, and Batangas to collect fishes from the sites that the Smithsonian Institution visited during the USS Albatross Expedition between 1908-1909.
