Near the end of the semester, we were assigned a 2000 word Toulmin argument, which involved the use of eight sources in the formation of an argument. This was a difficult paper to write and I made many mistakes. For example, some of my in-text citations were incorrect in that they were unclear on who authored the paper, especially in the sources with more than two authors. I also forgot to eliminate a contraction which should have been easy enough to remedy. I also need to review commas and introductory clauses. My info graph that accompanied this paper could have also used some improvement to make it aesthetically pleasing. If I had a chance to review the paper, I would give it another reread and fix my in-text citations for clarity in regards to who write each source. I would also allocate more time to writing this paper. It could have been developed more and the organization of each paragraph could have been better. We were also assigned a mandatory seven minute presentation in which we spoke about our argument in the Toulmin paper. If given the opportunity I would have increased the length of my speech and slowed my pacing as my timing cost me points.
