Hello, my name is Danielle Jensen and I am an Art Education major at ODU. I am taking Spanish classes to assist me in my future teaching jobs. Knowing how to speak Spanish is an important skill to have when you teach an entire school. Knowing the culture along with the language will be very helpful if I ever have any Spanish speaking students. I am also able to form bonds with those students if I can eliminate the language barrier.

Art is truly my passion. Ever since I was little, I have always loved making art and going to art museums. My favorite mediums to work with are fibers, watercolor paints, and ceramics. I hope to get my future students excited about art and to have an appreciation for it. Not everyone loves art, and that’s okay. My goal is to educate students on why art is important to our communities and the world.
