Computers started to appear in peoples homes around the 1980’s. Computers are known for having unlimited amount of information in someone’s home. Computers can be used to answer any question someone may have, can help create a place for storing information and important data, and it can also be used to communicate with anyone across the world.

The internet is just one tool that Computers have, and can be used to a person’s benefit. The internet can answer any question one person may have, such as how far the sun is from the earth, or how fast is the universe expanding. It can also provide guides to cooking or programming, tips for driving, or ways to study. Another useful tool that Computers have is the ability to store information that one user wants to store. It could be simple, like plans for the future, or more important like creating code for programs. The last, and one of the most useful tools from computers is the ability to communicate with anyone across the world. Because of online applications like Instagram or Facebook, anybody can put themselves on the internet to meet new people and make friends.

However with pros always comes cons and risks. If computers have all the information stored online, a simple crash of connection can make that information not be accessed. Another issue that shows is that there are lots of misinformation online as well. The ability to communicate with anyone also brings issues that anyone can pretend to be who they want online, causing fake information being told, lying and betrayal with people users would’ve thought as someone else, or information being taken and leaked to others online. A final issue is that there are hackers that are filling the websites with fake emails and terrible malware that can be thrown onto any computer, causing leaks and hacked systems.
