About Me

Hello, my name is Jerel Joseph I am a history at Old Dominion University. I was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and was raised all throughout the Hampton Roads area.

My goals is to graduate from Old Dominion and pursue a career in museum curation. I love the idea of being able to help present knowledge about the world and its exciting past, present, & future accomplishments.

I am a United States Army veteran, I served 5 years total. Four active duty as a Parachute Rigger in Florida and one as a Human Resource Specialist here in Portsmouth.

One of my many hobbies includes basketball, I am an avid player during my off days. I compete in tournaments regularly and love to bring that competitive and team-oriented spirit to the workplace.
