Meme: https://imgflip.com/i/8hfimv (Also edited with a meme generator) Phishing scams are an important aspect of Cybercrime that cybersecurity aims to try and prevent. This person just had all their money taken out of their account after giving their banking information to a scammer. Using phishing, scammers can pose as wealthy scammers to try and get access to bank information, which will allow the scammer to use the card of the victim for their own uses. By manipulating the user into giving their information by promising wealth in exchange or a place to stay, the scammers use the victim’s emotions or desperation to get this information, which puts humans at risk as they are being manipulated into giving information.

Meme: https://imgflip.com/i/8hfj70 (Also edited with a meme generator) Through using social media, it is important to realize that humans are extremely important and centered in cybersecurity. This lady posted an image of her house while taking pictures of her dog on the outside Posting images with information that may lead to a dox of your location is important to realize before sending it off for likes or attention. This can lead to far worse things and potentially people visiting the house if a location is revealed, showing that human error can lead to extreme danger if not careful.

Meme: https://imgflip.com/i/8hfjfz (Also edited with a meme generator) In a work setting, human error can easily become prevalent if protections are not enabled across the internet. These people now have to talk about what to do now that ransomware had managed to infect all systems and how to restore from here. Through email phishing, an employee can install software that can cause extreme damage to the system, and potentially systems with certain ransomwares that can infect the whole network. It is crucial to have antivirus software and employee training and tests to prevent employees from falling for scams or installing malicious software onto the system and running it. User Management systems can also prevent this by limiting what employees have access to and where they can go on the company network.
