Taking the test myself, I had scored 2/9 when comparing the results. The items on the test have great detail onto what could be the problems with usage of social media but there are still other aspects to consider just from this scale than personal experience of using it.
People have different patterns when looking at social media usage, especially through the scale. There are different reasons why this could be the case for low scoring users to high scoring users. From a job to run a social media account or simply browsing in free time or even none. Social media usage is dependent greatly on lifestyle and online presence when using social media apps and networks.
In conclusion, social media usage is important to scale and tone down when usage is too high. Social media is shown to be addicting when used so much and it brings heavy consequences, especially with popularity online. It is important to keep photos that could contain very important information away from the public online and to prevent information from getting compromised by hackers and other users online.
