After viewing the NICE Framework, I came to the determination that I will focus my career efforts on the Investigation (IN) pathway. I chose this career focus because from a young age, I nurtured a perpetual curiosity and a strong desire to uncover the underlying reasons behind even the most insignificant events. While some may label it as “nosy,” I would describe it as a “an inquisitive intellect.” Investigative work involves extensive examination, gathering, organization, and analysis of digital data (“Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework)”). Another aspect that particularly appeals to me is Criminal Justice, as I hold a minor in this field. If I had to choose the least appealing option, it would be Design and Development (DD) due to the repetitive tasks involved in conducting research, designs, and tests, which would leave me mentally exhausted.
