Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs comprises five stages. I will elucidate how each level corresponds to my experience with technology, from the foundational to the advanced.

Physiological demands encompass the fundamental human requirements for living, including food, water, warmth and rest. Technology encompasses numerous applications designed to assist in achieving these objectives. For instance, while at work, I periodically utilize the Walmart app to have my groceries delivered, thereby eliminating the need to visit the store after my shift.

Safety needs are a fundamental requirement for security and protection. Technology is particularly advantageous in this context since it can assist us in perilous situations. My residence is equipped with various sensors that notify me when doors are opened as well as a motion-detecting camera that ensures I am promptly informed to any approaching individuals.

Belongingness and love needs are psychological requirements centered on close relationships and friendships. Technology offers numerous applications that facilitate communication with friends regardless of your location. I have sustained friendships via several social media sites that facilitate my communication with them.

Esteem needs are psychological requirements encompassing status and a sense of success. Technology accomplishes these objectives via networking and platforms. However, I would associate this with my Apple watch when I fulfill my movement, exercise, and standing objectives. It frequently gives me awards upon their completion.

Finally, self-actualization is a self-fulfillment urge that entails realizing one’s full potential, encompassing creative endeavors. Technology may facilitate personal development. I possess a fitness app linked to my scale, which displays my water weight, body fat, and other metrics and it contributes to my health needs.
