My most recent visit to a museum was around January to the Holocaust Museum in Richmond. My twelfth grade English class were going over the Holocaust events and the prisoners in class. We decided to take a trip to the museum to get an idea and better understanding of what happened. The visit there was very emotional and informative. Although the museum wasn’t per se the most exciting and fun field trip, it was still interesting to learn and be informed of what went on during that period of time. I personally enjoyed the experience just because the events from the Holocaust always lead me to ask questions. The Richmond Holocaust Museum is a great recommendation for schools who are learning about the tragic events of the holocaust or for anyone who wants the experience.
