Introduction

Welcome

My portfolio is a summary of who I am and my experience evaluating the General Educational Development (GED) Program located in Chesapeake.  This program provides high school drop-outs, and those at risk of dropping out, an opportunity to obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma.  The Adult Education Center houses the General Educational Developmental Program, which provides all of the resources a prospective GED recipient would need to successfully obtain the certificate.

I chose this agency because I believe everyone can achieve success when given the correct resources and opportunities. The program links participants to assessment services, general education classes, counseling, career & technical education services, post-secondary education opportunities, and access to community partnerships.  To learn more about the program and what it offers, I invite you to view under Tasks, which includes a step-by-step evaluation of the GED program.

Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day!
