The only real activity I have done concerning Spanish in any meaningful sense is use the language for work. I renovate houses and over the course of time, I have employed companies that only speak Spanish. When the need has arisen for me to communicate with the workers, I would use Google translate to have a rudimentary conversation with them about various aspects of the job I employed them for. I hope to eventually be able to dispense with Google translate and just use my own knowledge of Spanish to communicate with them.
