As organizations improve their security measures they must keep in mind that hackers outside the organization might not be the only threat. Organizations must also watch out for the employees that work for them. Employees may decide to go rogue for many reasons.
It is important to watch out for attacks from employees because they most likely know more about the organization than anyone. If an employee gets fired they may decide to get revenge on that organization. Having preventative measures on employees can be important in saving an organization from workplace deviance.
