Relation & Hypothesis
Human behavior is determined by both a person’s characteristics and their social situation. The topic relates to social science as workplace cyberbullying can have a hurtful effect on psychological well-being, social interactions, and behavioral patterns of female employees. Initially, technologies were created for beneficial use but as it evolves it could carry negative involvement. The study’s hypothesis is to investigate the negative involvement of workplace cyberbullying in Saudi Arabia concentrating specifically on females. Many consequences can occur including diminished individual performance, compromised psychological well-being, heightened absenteeism, reduced job satisfaction and organizational commitment which could cause major problems in an organization.
Research methods & Analysis
A self-administered data collection method was used for this study. The survey was spread widely among female employees in organizations within Saudi Arabia. The analysis was conducted using software such as Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for demographic analysis and descriptive analysis. The hypothesis testing was conducted using structural equation modeling(SEM) aimed to assess the discriminant validity of the measurement scale.
