Neuron/Nerve Cell
This is one of many forms that a neuron can be. This cell is important in my field of Psychology and Neurology because it is the direct channel through which thoughts, perceptions, and sensations can be seen. Neurologists use these channels in diagnosing problems in the brain and body while Psychologists use these channels to understand which parts of the brain are activated during different emotional states or feelings.
