Leadership

My Business Ethics Course details:

In my Business Ethics class, I examined philosophical and ethical issues that arise in business and commerce. We covered topics that included affirmative action, ethical versus unethical sales and marketing techniques, the obligations of business to society (if any), and the moral foundations of capitalism.

During my PHIL 303E: Business Ethics course, I exercised the following skills:

  • Engaged in class discussions based on case studies in the required text.
  • Attended the ethics club to gain a broader perspective of ethical inquiries.
  • Produced various written prompts in accordance to theoretical concepts.
  • Collaborated and communicated with peers to expand knowledge-based comprehension.

Course Work

Attached below is an example of the work I did in this course depicting consciousness, posing questions of, ” Are we self-conscious? Do we have a subconscious? And does our conscious make us unique?”

Consciousness-1.0-2

I was able to critically dissect ethical topics in my Business Ethics course. This has helped me refine my ability to work in a team by engaging in discussions with diverse groups of people. Refraining from narrow views causes the mind to gain a broader perspective towards individuals and circumstances. This results to the betterment of one’s interactions with others and ability to analytically convey the topic of discussion. I find this imperative, especially for individuals pursuing a degree in communication.
