There was a club that was hosted by one of my teachers and encouraged students to join. At the time, I still did not know what I wanted to major in and thought nothing of it and I had two plans for post-graduation. My first plan was to do the business major route and hopefully end up as a product manager, but I realized that it was not something I really wanted to do. My second, and last resort was to enlist in the Navy. As the end of the first semester of my senior year was ending, I knew I had to prioritize picking a major to submit all of my applications. It wasn\u2019t until I talked to my teacher about the cybersecurity club that it sparked my interest. From what I remember, he told me that cybersecurity was a rapidly growing field; as technology continues to grow, the opportunity for cybercrime does as well.
