The article really opened my eyes to how modern warfare isn’t just about physical battles anymore and it’s also about controlling information. They explain how social cybersecurity is about protecting societies from misinformation and psychological manipulation, not just securing networks from hackers. It’s crazy to think how easily false information can spread online and influence public opinion, sometimes even changing entire countries. The authors point out that governments use these tactics to manipulate beliefs and create division. Reading this made me realize how important it is for military and civilian institutions to take social cybersecurity seriously. We need better policies, more research, and public awareness to fight back against these threats. If we don’t, we risk losing trust in our institutions and in each other.
