Some skills that I would like to highlight in this section are my Python skills, Windows System Management Skills, and Networking skills

Python Skills
Python has relevance across multiple disciplines including data science and analysis and machine learning.Python’s data science and analysis uses could include some of the extensive libraries and the amount of resources it has for data science purposes python is a Cornerstone for analyzing and visualizing data in social sciences healthcare and economics.

Python promotes algorithmic thinking and problem solving that can be applicable to a wide range of problems. Python is also open source which makes it reproducible for researchers and makes it easily accessible.

This document above shows how I can use a socket to talk between a server and a client to transmit data. This program stores all of the language translations on the server side while the client deicdes what language they want to learn to say hello in by making their request. There is more detailed explanation in the report.

This paper above shows my skills in understanding windows systems and proposes ideas for the federal government to inform citizens about cybersecurity to reduce the amount of cybercrime in the states.

Windows System Management Skills

Windows system management skills can have a large number of disciplines attached to it some of them include Enterprise and business research, educational technology and Healthcare and public services. Enterprise and business research is widely using Windows and corporate settings making its management skills essential for deploying systems managing active directory and insurance security and interdisciplinary collaborations.With the application of Windows systems to education technology managing and troubleshooting systems and academic environments where Windows is a dominant OS is a valuable skill and often times in educational settings Windows is a standard amongst all educational institutions. Windows system management skills and Healthcare and public services ensures the secure operation of applications and services used in hospitals labs and government settings. skills like group policy and Powershell scripting teach resource optimization and policy enforcement and is applicable to managing teams are processes Security Management on the window systems encourages awareness of risk mitigation and compliance and it’s critical in regulated industries.

Networking Skills

Networking skills can be relevant across multiple disciplines. Cyber security and IoT has a large need for networking skills so we can understand vulnerabilities, secure sensitive data and optimize IoT devices in healthcare, agriculture and educational settings. Networking skills are useful in global collaborations because it enables interdisciplinary teams to set up and manage secure communications for remote collaboration. Networking skills are also very useful and data intensive research purposes because it supports a large-scale data transfers and real-time analytics which is critical to areas like astronomy, meteorology, and biology.

Some skills and concepts for interdisciplinary application can be shown from efficiency and automation ,system level thinking ,collaboration and communication and  ethical and security awareness. Efficiency and automation is a skill or concept because Python scripts and Windows management tools automate repetitive tasks to improve research workflows. System level thinking is important because networking and system management skills foster a macro level understanding of how systems interact which is valuable for managing interdisciplinary projects. Collaboration and communication is important because these technical skills Bridge communication between IT specialists and domain experts enabling smoother interdisciplinary collaborations. ethical and security awareness is important because networking and Windows system management skills emphasize the importance of data privacy and secure system operation which is essential and feels like healthcare education and even public policies.

Conceptual analysis of Skills

The skills listed in “Skills for the future 1” and “Skills for the Future 2” are some of the beginner level skills that ODU’s cybersecurity program has showed me. These skills are invaluable in the eyes of an employer when attacking the job market and I highlight research based off job advertisements and the applicable skills for them; I used conceptual analysis to do so please read below for more information.
