The next section, safety needs, relates to technology due to security methods that take advantage of technology such as cameras and online authorization. Belongingness and love needs relate because there are many spaces within technology that provide communities and opportunities to meet new people or fit in such as dating websites and social media platforms. Esteem needs can relate to the validation that can be received from social media like comments and shares. The last category, self-actualization, relates because there are many ways that technology can help with overall self-improvement.
