How does cyber technology impact interactions between offenders and victims in this week’s journal question and I will dive into what these interactions are. Back when computers were not a thing and people were either bullied by classmates or just everyday people, the person who was bullied could try and avoid these people. by doing this it could lessen the bullying and make it so that the person was overall happier, as they were not getting bullied as often. But as computers advanced and social media became prevalent in young kids this situation has drastically changed. It is common to follow all of your friends you go to school with on social media, it helps you to stay in contact, maybe do homework together, or just chat. But because of the constant use of social media by these kids if one of them were to start getting bullied there is no easy way to get away from the bully. The person could just block them, but not many kids block their bullies for whatever reason, maybe they want to know what they are talking about, or something along those lines. But because kids most of the time do not block their bully it means that they can not escape them. As their bully will also be on the internet and be in all the same places the person being bullied is. In conclusion, cyber tech has made it harder for the victim to get away from the offender.
