After watching the video, I realized that movies often give people the wrong idea about what hackers and cybersecurity really look like. In movies, hackers are usually shown typing super fast in dark rooms, breaking into government systems in seconds, and doing things that aren’t realistic. This can make cybersecurity seem like it’s only for geniuses or criminals, when in real life it’s about problem-solving, patience, and understanding how systems work. Media often leaves out the important parts, like the hard work of defending systems, writing code, or analyzing data. Because of these portrayals, people might not take cybersecurity seriously or understand the real risks. I think the media should try to show a more accurate picture of what cybersecurity professionals actually do.
