Mutant Zombie Robot Outbreak
Concept
Mutant Zombie Robot Outbreak is a 2D action platform survival game. It takes place in a futuristic, robotic city, taken over by mutant zombie robots. Players control a stretchy powered character who is the subject of science experiments with the purpose of creating a last hope to save humanity. The player must escape several levels with hoards of robot zombies and several obstacles to overcome. Using these stretchy abilities to traverse different maps, attack with unique abilities, and solve environmental puzzles.
Description
The core experience of this game is its unique movement and attacks, as well as survival and progressing to the next level. Stretching will be the main mechanic of the main character, which will be used for pretty much everything needed to escape. They can stretch their arms to grab unreachable ledges, swing across gaps, reach levers, and dodge enemy attacks. When fighting the player also has abilities such as long ranged stretch punches, slingshot attacks, and windmill attacks.
The main obstacles include locked doors, wide gaps that requiring strict jumps and stretch abilities to reach, and enemy zombie robots. There will also be a variety of enemy robots such as some robots blocking certain exits while other just mindlessly charge the player. These enemy robots also get a lot stronger as the game progresses gaining increased speed, health, damage, and different mutations such as tank robots and quick agile robots.
The setting first takes place in a research lab. Once the player escapes this area the map will expand into underground tunnels, other parts of the city, or abandoned facilities. The motivation for the players is the motivation to survive and unlock new abilities. Skill will also be a factor as the player may need to improve their mechanics to beat harder levels. Later in the game the player will discover what caused this outbreak and find a way to actually save humnity.

Mega Man for example, is also a 2D action platform with robot enemies and combat based progression. What makes Mutant Zombie Robot Outbreak different is its unique stretch powered main character that will add a much more agile and comedic concept to the game.
