The development of cyber-policy and -infrastructure is important to us, despite the lack of predictive knowledge to curb technological effects. We should use moderate control over technology because too little control allows people to do anything and too much control allows the government to spy on the people. As technology gets more complex, there should be an evaluation to hold technology responsible in our society. To find out the consequences of technology, there are two methods to test technology. The first method is the kosmos-like method. In the method, it incorporates the environment’s impact on the technology and evolution of technology. Next, the second method is the taxis-like method. For this method, the construction and interactions of the technology provide a broad overview of technology. The second distinction for policy occurs within the public vs private domain. Most of the world associates in the public domain, which a primary example is the Internet. The difficult part is that there can be private companies that owns a part of the internet. A better way to govern both domains is to protect everyone from them. On the private side, the people’s information should be secured and not accessed for any reason. On the public side, the people need to be wary of scams and being subjected to trash talk over social media. Some solutions to contribute to policy making are freedom, knowledge, and taking care of technology. By freedom, people should be able to express themselves to other people and not treating the people as research subjects. By knowledge, policies should build upon older policies and understand the role that technology affect our society. By caring for technology, there needs to be awareness about the human involvement in technology. Thus, technology should always support humans, so that our rights are not violated by the use of technology. One example is the use of technology to create organs. If it requires human subjects to test the effectiveness, it violates a human’s right to live as respected beings.
