Cybersecurity is critical today because it protects devices, data, networks, and the societal and governmental infrastructure that controls everyday things. Through this, cybersecurity intersects with economic, legal, sociological, and psychological aspects. This is shown through the impact of cybercrime, which falls under the sociological aspect, cyber laws, and ethics, which go with the legal aspect of cybersecurity. These aspects feed into the social science aspect of implementing and interacting with technology, knowing its risk, and how we respond to these attacks and threats.
