I’m Jay Michael Lowmack, a cyber security major at ODU. As a college freshman, my passion for animation/film has driven my life. I’ve spent years teaching myself how to code, design, and animate for the games and animations I’ve created. I mastered C++ and Python before taking high school classes that further developed my skills, including Java. I grew up in a military household; my dad served approximately 23 years. He served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Afghanistan (combat veteran). I’m also an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity since 2022. I earned a GPA of 3.25 after finishing the first semester of my first year.
