Hello there! My name is Jasmyn Marell-Daniels. I am a 25-year-old mother with a passion for cybersecurity and a love for personal growth. I have always believed that with discipline, determination, and a positive mindset, we can achieve anything we put our minds to. As a mother to a daughter on the autism spectrum, I am dedicated to proving that any challenge can be overcome, and I am on a mission to inspire her by pursuing my dreams.

I have spent over 10 years as a hairstylist, specializing in custom wigs and hair care for clients with medical conditions through my business, Adore Jas LLC. During that time, I honed my entrepreneurial skills, building a loyal client base and implementing social media marketing strategies to expand my reach. I have always loved the opportunity to connect with people and make a positive impact on their lives.

Recently, I made the bold decision to shift careers into the dynamic field of cybersecurity, I am currently earning my Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Old Dominion University. I am intrigued by the thought of protecting businesses from cyber threats and am working toward becoming an ethical hacker or pen tester. I thrive on solving problems and identifying vulnerabilities to safeguard critical information.

Throughout my career, whether as a hairstylist, an administrative assistant, or even a sales specialist, I have demonstrated exceptional meticulousness, effective communication skills, and a focus on building rapport with clients and team members alike. My experiences have taught me how important it is to stay organized, manage time effectively, and consistently aim for excellence in everything I do.

With each step I take in my cybersecurity career, I yearn to set a marvelous example for my daughter and to show that with dedicated work, anything is possible.
