This semester in Spanish 102 I had the opportunity to continue to learn more Spanish communication skills by completing two Talk Abroad sessions with other people in Latin America.

My first session, I spoke about where I live and what I for a living with Yanina from Argentina. We also spoke about our families and how they are important to both of us. Lastly, we talked about our love for music and what were our favorite bands.

My second session, I spoke with Miral from southern Mexico. We spoke about how we both held good health as being important in our lives. Miral and I both love to workout and eat healthy. I was able to get a great recipe from her for pasteles through email. I can’t wait to try and make them.
