Language is neither “right” nor “wrong,” yet various groups value having sets of rules for communication (and there is variety among those rules). Why is it useful to know (and likely adhere to) grammar expectations for various audiences?

Then, describe an exercise you completed which allowed you to practice these concepts and answer these questions. What was difficult for you? What did you do well? How did these concepts inform the choices you made as you wrote?
