Exploring culture is one of my motives within my journey of learning a new language.

Unlike most, I work with a doctor who was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She pushes me everyday by not only speaking the language but sharing stories and memories from her time in Puerto Rico. Working with her, I have learned so much about the culture and how it varies from other Spanish-speaking countries. In addition, engaging in activities, watching videos, and taking quizzes on VHL also expanded my understanding of culture.
