Incorporating many different speaking activities throughout the course not only helped me improve my pronunciation but gave me confidence.

Conversing with the professor, interacting with my classmates, and completing activities on VHL focused on our speaking skills as a whole. Many of the speaking activities on VHL involved voice recording of our responses to questions and practicing our pronunciation of words and their meanings with accents.

Without this practice, I would lack knowledge of the importance of accents and confidence in my speaking.
