From watching videos in class to listening to conversations on VHL, I have completed many listening activities that improved my interpretation skills. For the past 6 years, I have listened to my teacher or professor teach lectures in Spanish; however, sometimes, the interpretation gets lost within translation.

VHL provided many opportunities for me to engage in another’s conversation through videos, voice recordings, and mini lectures with graphics. I believe the repetition combined with videos/graphics is the best way for me to grasp better interpretation skills. I remember one day during class I was struggling with a specific topic and I became very frustrated. Later on, I completed a few activities on VHL involving true/false responses on a voice recording and it did not take long till I better understood the topic.
