On the day I went, a couple companies that I went to were Busch’s Gardens, Geico, and Sentara. I didn\u2019t get to visit a lot of companies because I was in a time crunch but in the amount of time I had, I was able to get basic knowledge on what it\u2019s like to work as an intern in their companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Out of those three companies, the one that stood out to me was Geico. Geico actually has a program where if you\u2019re interested in cybersecurity but don’t have a degree, that\u2019s an option you can take. But basically, the day-to-day life at Geico is what you\u2019d expect.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n You\u2019re tasked with monitoring and troubleshooting the cybersecurity aspect of Geico\u2019s enterprise, ensuring that everything is functioning properly. You\u2019re also asked to provide suggestions on new design\/architecture that pertain to cybersecurity, regarding being on par with Geico’s standards.
