Cyber technology has undoubtedly transformed the modern workplace, introducing new opportunities for productivity and communication. However, this digital revolution has also created new opportunities for workplace deviance, presenting significant challenges for organizations. I will be talking about how cyber technology has contributed to workplace deviance.

Cyber-Slacking:
Cyber-slacking is when employees use the internet at work for personal things. They may check social media, shop online, or watch videos instead of doing their work. This can make them less productive and waste company time, which can affect how well the organization works.

Unauthorized Access and Data Theft:
Cyber technology can let workers see or take things from the company that they are not supposed to. They might do this for money or for fun, but it can cause a lot of trouble for the company. It can make the company lose money or trust from other people.

Cyberbullying and Harassment:
Some people use the internet to hurt or bother others at work. They might send mean emails, spread lies online, or make people feel unwelcome in online chats. This is bad for the people who are targeted and for the whole work environment.

Phishing and Social Engineering: Some people use tricks like fake emails or websites to fool workers into giving away important information or doing things that break security. These tricks take advantage of human weaknesses and can cause money loss or data theft for the company.

Data Manipulation and Fraud:
Cyber technology can be used to change or hide digital information, such as money or documents. Some workers may do this to steal money or lie to others about the business. This is a bad behavior that can cause legal and financial problems.

In conclusion, cyber technology can help people work better and faster, but they can also help people do things that hurt the company or others. Companies need to know about these things and stop them from happening. Cyber technology are very useful, but they can also be very harmful.
