Historian, Student Council for Exceptional Children, Old Dominion University Chapter. November 2019 to Present. In this position, I am tasked with attending volunteer opportunities and taking pictures, as well as managing social media accounts and providing updates on events to members.

Florida Audiology Student State Officer, National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association. September to December 2020. In this position, I served as the liaison between National NSSLHA and 11 NSSLHA chapters throughout Florida. Additionally, I provided guidance to local chapters regarding advocacy, fundraising, membership, and research.

Virginia State Ambassador, Student Academy of Audiology. July 2019 to June 2020. In this position, I communicated monthly with SAA chapter representatives within Virginia and encouraged collaboration and participation among chapters for local, state, and national events. I also assisted with the recruitment of new members and chapters, created and distributed a bi-monthly newsletter to Virginia’s SAA chapter, and contributed to organization’s blog.

Student Representative, Speech-Language Hearing Association of Virginia. July 2019 to May 2020. In this position, I led the association in the area of student recruitment and retention of student members through outreach to speech-language pathology students and audiology students in the state of Virginia. I also served as the liaison for 5+ NSSLHA chapters in Virginia to the state association, and spearheaded the creation of an Instagram account for the organization.

Virginia Audiology Student State Officer, Speech-Language Hearing Association of Virginia. September 2018 to July 2019. In this position, I served as the liaison between National NSSLHA and 7 NSSLHA chapters throughout Virginia. I increased applications for National NSSLHA’s Chapter Honors program from chapters in Virginia by 50%, and also contributed to increasing NSSLHA’s advocacy efforts to 10,000 letters sent to federal legislators.
