My physiological need with technology is tracking how long I workout and how long I sleep to check if my body is regulating itself just fine. For my Safety Needs I use two factor authentication for several social media accounts since I’ve had my accounts hacked previously without using 2FA. For the love and belonging area I like to keep in check with friends across the world using social media and playing video games. Its like we can still hang out without having to live next door to each other. I personally try not to boost my self-worth through social media at all. I rely more on genuine connections and the outdoors for my self-esteem. For personal growth I look at Instagram and see how I was in photos I wouldn’t have without it. It makes me realize that although my path has turned several times, I’m still on track.
