I scored well, I got a two out of nine. The items on the scale I think are very much needed to help get the results of finding out if someone has issues with social media. It brings up several important ideas into thought with escape, deception, withdrawal, & conflict. A lot of how social media was made was to deceive people into needing technology just to have some entertainment. Different patterns can be found based on both accessibility to the internet and restrictions that their government may have placed on their country. With the US this would be the most common because of the biggest restriction is censorship of massive social media companies. These apps are made to want you to stay on for the longest time possible, giving you a high that keeps you wanting more. With addiction to social media, I believe it comes as the same way as it does for other vices, smoking, drinking, gambling, etc.
