2.            multiple reasons: Out of boredom comes the want of entertainment, some people might decide to do this as some form of adrenaline rush, however there are many combinations that might make someone decide to become a cybercriminal.

3.            Political:  People can get very inflamed about political debates. Sometimes they blindly follow one political party and that makes them willing to do anything to promote their political agenda, or demean what they perceive as their opponent.

4.            Revenge:  Revenge is a common motive for all types of crimes, disgruntled employees may want to take revenge on a employer they feel has wronged them, or a former love interest.

5.            Entertainment: There was a group of people who took down the Xbox one servers over the course of Christmas just for fun. There is also a game called War Thunder, it is about vehicle warfare and for the sake of trying to make the game more accurate to real life vehicles some of them have leaked legal documents like a manual/specs or a certain jet.

6.            Recognition: Some people desire praise and attention at any cost. Or they have a competitive drive that makes them want to be recognized as the best in their field even if that field is crime.

7.            Boredom: while I feel that boredom is the lowest motivator for the potential drive to commit a crime, excessive boredom may lead to falling in with a group that feeds on crime as an activity, and then it becomes more about the social aspects of the crime than the boredom.
