Aviation Ordnanceman Weapons Specialist  

United States Navy | Norfolk, VA | Mon 2013 – Mon 2019  

Supervised and managed a team of specialists who maintained and built Ordnance.  

Supervised two magazine series of 20 personnel. Facilitated leadership development and experiential learning for new team members on Rate and advancement guidelines.  

Monitored for various species of marine mammals that entailed performing a pre-watch and a post watch in order to clear the area of any marine protected species before and after gun shoots over open water.  

Carrier Fitness Leader  

Physical fitness leader. Carrier Fitness Leader for CVN 69 and NAS Fallon. Responsible for the commands weekly exercises training plan and overall fitness readiness. Perform personal training for sailors of all ranks who do not meet Navy Fitness guidelines.

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE  

Beach Life Relocation Community Organizer – Antigua, W.I 2013  

As a part of the Old Road Community Group I aided in beach clean up and the relocation of any stranded marine animals.  

I identified seals, whales and dolphins down to species.  

Experienced in handling large stingrays.  

I can identify cues and employ search methods for locating marine mammals, especially whales and turtles.  

Reported to the Environmental Awareness Group of any sighting of turtles and their nesting.  

Report to the EAG any capturing of sea turtles by fishermen.  

Lobby to create a “Red Light District” in the Dark Wood – Crab Hill area to protect sea turtles.  

Helped to maintain and protect marsh lands by putting up signs and cleaning domestic waste.  

Worked along with nearby hotels and restaurants to reduce water pollution in the community.
