Takeaway 5
I enjoyed doing assignment 5. It made me step out my comfort zone and interact with fellow citizens within my community. Throughout the week as I was doing good deeds it made me realize that you can make a positive impact in society as well as feeling good about doing it.. I personally believe that what you put out in the world y’all receive. So Im thinking if I continue putting out positivity in the world that I’ll also receive positivity.

Takeaway 4
As mentioned in the assignment I’m not mad about my results from the love scale. My total mean for each section was below others of my gender and Ive read that that means that I’m high for this type of love. And I completely agree. Iv always been an emotional and romantic type of person, especially towards my partner and my results from the love scale confirmed it. It was also interesting to compare my mean with the average mean of other females.

I chose this picture that says high on love because I read that my results indicate that I’m high for that type of love from the love scale.
Takeaway 3
After completing assignment 3 it reminded me of how inconsiderate and ruthless some people can be when they’re upset. As mentioned before in my assignment I was disgusted after watching the video. Im a form believer that people say how they truly feel about something or someone when upset. It’s disappointing to see a individual of a different race shouting racial slurs like that with no remorse.

Takeaway 2
Personally I enjoyed doing the assignment. Looking back at those photo brought back memories, happy ones at that. I think its therapeutic to once an a while look back at photos over the years and reminiscing about the good times. Thats what this assignment did for me. Describing how the photos represented my personality and appearance enlightened me on who I am as a person.

Takeaway 1
After completing the assignment involving the three heuristics I’ve learned a great deal about them. Honestly if it wasn’t for reading that article I dont think I would have fully grasped the concept of heuristics. I liked how each paragraph in the article thoroughly explained the meaning of each heuristic. Not to mention in the paragraphs there were also examples to better explain them and even how the heuristics can be misinterpreted by others. Surprisingly after reading about the heuristics I could relate to some of them. For example, I used the representativeness heuristic the other day. I was waiting in line to order some food and I noticed that the person in front of me was wearing scrubs and had a stethoscope around his neck. I automatically assumed that he was a registered nurse or someone who works in the medical field.

I chose this picture because it shows a good example of the Representativeness Heuristic. It’s showing a jury judging the defendant by his appearance at court. When theres a 50/50 chance that the verdict is not guilty.
