Cyber technology is ever changing, there is no way to know the direction or trend it will follow in the next century, much less the next decade. That being said I feel that as the new age of developers and innovators move into the light they should try and follow the original ideology of technology, which is to make everyday life easier. Knowing that we don’t know what will happen in the future I say that we continue to strive to create and build inventions that will make life more convenient. Elon Musk and Tesla are the perfect example of this. Electric cars are safer for the environment than cars that run off of gas and the bells and whistles they have like automatic driving and the large screen they have that replaces a dash. I feel this is the best way to move forward. I feel like in the past the idea was always to make inventions that would change the world, like flying cars or hoverboards but that simply isn’t feasible. It makes much more sense to constantly evolve pre-existing objects and modify them because the cyber world is just too fast. Things like upgrading memory on ssd cards or increasing the amount of pixels on a display works better than trying to invent something greater than television. We already have things like Virtual Reality (VR), but everything that runs on it looks clunky and poor quality. Engineers should focus on improving the quality of those images instead of trying to invent something new because in the next 10 years they could create something that allows you to be completely present in the game rather than just using a headset and hand controllers. Since the infrastructure and way that inventions are made could constantly change, maybe just try taking it one day at a time.
