Traveling in Time
If I was given the ability to travel back in time where would I go, or better when? Even though this question may sound random, the majority of people have been asked this question. Most of the time the person asking the question is not really looking for a well thought out answer. Instead it is presented as a hypothetical question that is more often than not looking for a cool or funny answer. After I spent a considerable amount of time trying to decide which time and place would be the best to go to, I finally made my decision. If I were given the opportunity to travel back in time, I would go back two thousand years ago to the land of Jerusalem. This obviously being the supposed time that Jesus was alive and spreading the word of God. To most people asking the question, this is an extremely lame answer considering the fact that it is the most common. I struggled with this idea of genericness for a while when I was making my decision. I instinctively kept on trying to figure out a better destination. Ultimately though, I came to realize why traveling to meet Jesus was the most common choice and ended up choosing it. This realization being that it is the most common choice and the best one, because of the lost knowledge that I would have with me when I returned to the current day and age. This trip would allow me to actually see for my own eyes whether the Church and Jesus are real or not. Realistically, it genuinely does not matter at all whether or not he ends up being real. Either way, the changes that will take place across the world if this information is spread to everyone, would be astronomical. These changes would instantly switch up the course of human history.
