I feel as if I have grown a lot throughout the course of the first 6 weeks of the semester. In terms of how I actually changed, I would say that the biggest change that I have made is in my perception of what the University 150 class is actually all about. I have been able to successfully identify what my strengths are and what my weaknesses are. While I have been spending time practicing, to improve my weaknesses and show off my strengths, I have not been able to make sufficient progress in either category. Instead, the main problem that I have been attempting to overcome is the sheer volume of assignments that I have to complete for this class. I spent my first couple of weeks just hanging around for the most part, not handing in a good amount of the assignments that I was supposed to complete. I figured that since most of the work had such a long timeline to be completed that I would have time to do it later. This was a crucial mistake by me and ultimately shows my lack of a clean and easy transition into college. My plan for the rest of the semester is to try and get ahead of the game in terms of assignments, or at least just be on time.
