Boredom &#8211; Certainly cybercrimes have taken place due to nothing other than boredom but this is not the most likely option.<br>6. Entertainment &#8211; much the same as boredom. <br>5.  Recognition &#8211; Our society is full of people who crave any kind of acceptance and validation they can get<br>4. Revenge &#8211; Malware can do some nasty things, getting on a hacker&#8217;s bad side could be costly.<br>3. For money &#8211; Ransomware is lucrative and can get a hacker huge amounts of cash if done properly.<br>2. Politics &#8211; In my other classes we have been studying various instances of cyber attacks in the world of politics, they are very real and very serious.<br>1.
