Interest in the NICE Framework

The NICE Workforce Framework is comprised of multiple roles including oversight and governance, design and development, implementation and operation, protection and defense, and investigation. The career I plan to pursue is a career as a cybersecurity analyst. A cybersecurity analyst is tasked with monitoring and analyzing security risks and threats in a system. My ideal career path would fall under the implementation and operation role because this role heavily relies on analysis of data and application of various tools. A similar work role that is also categorized under implementation and operation is systems security analysis. A system security analysis is a role that is tasked with maintaining a security posture of an organization and assessing security systems. These traits in the implementation and operation role are very suitable for my future career path. The role that I find less appealing is the investigation role. This is because, the role is less applicable to securing data bases and more appliable for breaching databases. It is the counterintuitive version of my ideal career path that focuses on securing systems.
