Social Media Disorder Scale

I scored a three on the scale and indicated a slight risky usage of social media. Most
of the questions are variations of the time an individual spends using social media. This is
one way to determine if someone is spending time on social media but does not put into
question how social media affects the individual other than three occasions where it asked
if an individual faced withdrawals, arguments, and used social media as an escape from
reality. People from different parts of the world might experience significant differences in
their score because of availability, and governance. Some people might live without access
to the internet or can not afford it. Some places heavily regulate the internet and access to
social media. These all play significant roles in determining the time spent on social media
which this survey is primarily about.
