Journal 1- How is it difficult for writers to accept criticism? Many people when they write their paper or document, they check everything before they show it to anyone and think its perfect now. But when people see their paper they tell the writer their opinion and what they think what the writer did wrong. The writer checks everything and they say to him he’s wrong and they say to him he’s wrong and bothers him because he knows he did a good job and won’t accept any criticism. Some people are just sensitive about their work and just won’t take any criticism.

Journal 2- Who should pay for college? Honestly we the students or parents pay for college. College is where people who earn it not just anyone can get in. People work hard to get in to change now will change a lot of things in our country. If the government pays for it then taxes will increase dramatically and it will be harder on people. Plus college is meant for people who work hard and deserves it. College isn’t meant for everyone.

Journal 3- Most people think I look Mexican and Indian. I don’t why people think I look Mexican, I can see why people think I look Indian even though they have darker skin. I am originally Pakistani and Polish. I know I don’t look white I accept that part but what I still don’t get how they think I look Mexican. Is my facial features if so I don’t really think so I mean maybe when I grow out my beard and mustache but that’s it.

Journal 4- The first essay we did in class wasn’t so hard. It was really easy but yet I didn’t do so well. I mean I got a good score I mean but my grammar and my comma rules aren’t the best. My main idea and my transitions were good, which I’m glad because I would rather have a good main idea and transitions rather good grammar. But overall I know for next time when I’m doing my next essay what to do and what I need to fix more on.

Journal 5- One of my favorite foods is steak. Steak is good no doubt about it. It can be served and made in many ways, which I like because they’re not just a couple ways to make steak. I like any steak, to be honest, all steak taste good in their own ways. My favorite place to eat steak is Mike’s American grill since their steak is the best ones I have had so far. Sirloin is what I enjoy much more because I have it more so I’m used to its taste and how their prepared makes it taste so good.

Journal 6-  I got to leave early for Thanksgiving break. But before I left I had to get ahead of my classes before I left so I don’t miss work and don’t have to do any when I leave. I left because my cousin from overseas came to visit and I rarely get to see him. But he wasn’t going to leave until on the nineteenth so I only got to see him for two days. I am glad that I came early and saw my cousin even if it was for only for a couple of days.

Journal 7- One of my favorite past times is to play Yu-Gi-Oh. It is a trading card game and I have been playing it since I was a kid. Its a game about skill and luck. I would say I’m a pretty good player since ai have been playing since I was young so I know most cards and what they do. I can strategize what I’m gonna do in order to win.

Journal 8- I wish I could go back home. I’m getting homesick and wish I could see everyone back at home. I know my parents very especially my mom. She’s a crybaby so I know she is missing me very much. Most of all I miss my bed.

Journal 9- I’m excited about the new dragon ball super movie. Dragon Ball is a series that was made in japan. It is one of my favorite shows to watch and now they are making a movie. The movie is canon so all the characters in there that weren’t apart of the series is now. That means one of my favorite characters are now canon.

Journal 10-  I finally have my own t.v in my room. For the longest time, I have never had my own t.v. Before I had to go to the basement and play video games or watch t.v down there but now I don’t have to. I can do all of it in my room. Since there is a t.v in my room everyone complains how loud it is.
