Ultimately, over the course of the school year, I am happy to say that I have made tremendous progress in my French-learning journey. Prior to this year, the last French class that I took was before Covid-19, and while there were a lot of things that I remembered and kept in mind, there were also a lot of things that I needed to touch up on in order to retain the things that I had learned through high school. I was introduced to new things that related to the language and culture, and I learned more about the world through the different cultural norms that were presented in the course.

The course really helped through the different methods and strategies of practicing the content. Through various applications such as TalkAbroad and ImmerseMe, I was able to not only experience the language through assignments, but I was also provided a realistic, immersive experience that helped increase my engagement with the material. I am absolutely grateful for taking the courses that I took, and I am interested in looking forward to learning more about French culture.
