The virtual reality experience of ImmerseMe motivated me to analyze, evaluate, and apply practical everyday concepts in a real world situation. Using the four scaffolded learning modes of the ImmerseMe platform (pronunciation, writing\/dictation preview, translation preview, and immersion), I fully engaged with real-life scenarios where I was prompted to interact and negotiate meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think using different methods like the ones that were provided by this platform, it really helps give a multi-faceted learning experience because you can improve so many different areas. The cultural setting of ImmerseMe really helps set the tone for the immersive experience, and having a direct one-on-one conversation is beneficial in practicing your French-speaking skills because it forces you to adapt and utilize the information that you have been learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
