In this TED Talk, David goes on to tell his story on how he traveled through the difficult stages of settling down into a career. For him, it was not a straight shot into his final choice. Choosing a career path can be very scary, especially when you don’t know if it’s the right one. There are many fields of cybersecurity. When he began his journey, there were no courses (the way we have today) for him to take that could push him forward professionally. He began in accounting with an interest and opportunity in digital forensics. Beyond the difficulties and challenges he faces, he had found his niche. His passions.

As someone who has just recently entered the cyber world, I am forever grateful for the resources and opportunities I am provided with. Back in the year 2000, there was not nearly as much advancement as we have now. In these upcoming generations, we have the foundation laid by those before us. With enough hard work, we can continue the growth and make strides to a technological advanced world!
